After struggling with many vets in and around the North side of the city we happened upon Mia at a mutual friend's party and started talking 'vet shop'. She kindly laid out the vibe and bedside manner at Lane and we couldn't be happier. Our lil bully nugget Poppy has been so wonderfully cared for and the staff is just beyond kind and attentive. We truly feel like family there. Shout outs to Dr. O'Reilly, Dr. Weber, Erika, Briana and Natalie so far. Keep doing what you're doing, we're so grateful.

Welcoming, friendly, thorough, answer all questions and follow up when needed. Can't say enough good things about Lane Vet. Dr Weber did a CCL surgery on our dog, and ever since we have entrusted all care to her and the team at Lane. Would recommend to anyone.

Our dog had gotten kennel cough and I tried a few vets in the area and none made any effort to help me out. I called Lane and they went out of their way to find an open time that afternoon. They were amazing…cordial, professional and provided the care and attention we needed. Lane is our vet for the future!

In January of this year, we took our ~1-year-old cat in because they were having difficulty walking and not moving much. Turns out he had fractures in both hips and would require surgery. The team at Lane (both the Hinsdale for care & the Elmherst location who did the surgery) was absolutely incredible - hard to quantify, really. They talked us through our options, suggested care, and were completely understanding of our wanting to understand the costs and get a second opinion (because let's be honest, cat surgery wasn't exactly on our agenda for 2026). After that, they walked us through all the options again and made us feel so comfortable that there was no need for us to look further. Care was 10/10, and after care was great as well. I couldn't recommend Lane and the team there enough, and thank you for everything you do for us!

We had an urgent issue for my dog and they were able to get us quickly. They were so calm and sweet with him. The actual office is clean and modern and not loud or crazy. All the staff were kind and attentive! I ended up moving my pets care to this location in Elmhurst!

Lane veterinary truly is an excellent business for your pets care. I had used another vet for 24 years and switched to Lane primarily because my vet had retired. Every employee, based upon my experience, is focused on the task of finding a solution to your pets malady. The intake staff is both sympathetic and empathic. The professional staff, the veterinarians, also exhibit those characteristics. More importantly they are truly skilled Craftsman. I received a thorough explanation with respect to diagnosis and potential therapies. I also received a transparent and thorough list of charges for the suggested therapies prior to treatment. I can give no reason based upon my experience, not to endorse this practice.

I cannot say enough good things about Lane Veterinary in Elmhurst. I have tried other vets, but the care my cat Tiger received there was amazing! All the doctors and staff there were so good and caring. It's the most stressfree environment! Unfortunately my cat had advanced oral cancer when I found them. Other vets hadn't diagnosed it earlier. He is no longer with me. I know they did everything they could for him! I will be forever thankful for all they did! This is the only vet I will use!

I cannot say enough about Lane veterinary clinic. I was in such a pickle as my dog ate a handful of grapes. Knowing that grapes can be severe in a dog I quickly contacted Lane and spoke to Dr. Baker. She prompted me to bring our pup in for urgent attention. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the wonderful staff to the moment we left, we knew our dog was well taken care of. Thankfully, all is well because of the quick and efficient attention she received by the Lane team. Highly recommend!

We switched to Lane less than a year ago & it was the best decision we could’ve made. One of my dogs was having some sort of issue with his hip/leg (at the time we didn’t know what). But the other vet we took him to didn’t think it was an issue & to “just see how it is over time”. We took the X-Rays we received to Lane, specifically Dr. Weber, & she said it looked like some form of Hip Dysplasia. From there she recommended us to see a specialist. My dog ended up getting FHO surgery. After the surgery he’s had some complications & Dr. Weber & the other Lane staff, specifically Mia, Erika, Natalie, & Debbie have been beyond helpful, supportive, quick to respond, accommodating, etc. We are so grateful for all of them & the other staff at Lane! Dr. Weber also recommended us to an amazing PT place - Dr. Grace & Dr. Jenna @ Lombard Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Weber has also recommended a few supplements to give my dog that has also made an impact on his journey to recovery. Dr. Weber & staff have also been great at just regular visits for both of my dogs. I cannot recommend Lane enough! Thank you Dr. Weber & staff ❤️🐾
